I’m Nicky, and I have been teaching for 14 years as a fully qualified fitness instructor in and around the Coventry area. I was a professional dancer abroad (on cruises and land contracts) for most of my working life and have transferred my passion for dance and fitness into my own style of fitness classes in the local area.
I know that, for me, exercise makes me feel fantastic. I wish I could convince inactive people that coming to class really would bring all the benefits they need. Whether it is to lose weight, improve body shape, gain strength, tone up, or de-stress, exercise DOES over time achieve these goals and coming to class helps you stay positive and happy – you just have to do it for a while to believe it!
And of course we all know that being active can prevent and/or manage over 20 medical conditions including coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, obesity, back pain, osteoarthritis, and depression.
The trick is also finding the right exercise for you, which you enjoy so much, it doesn’t even feel like exercise!
It is SO important for your wellbeing (and sanity!) to try and find time each week to look after yourself and invest in your present and future health and I am here to help you.
My Fitness Community
Having taught most styles of group exercise classes over the years in most of the clubs and sports centres in the local area, I now run my own classes in the community and specialise in the ones I am passionate about which have great results – Yoga, Zumba, Fitball and Meditation.
